Lucid9 is a mystery visual novel set in the fictional metropolis of Isamu, Japan. The story follows Yama Ishimoto, a cynical high school student who is drawn into an investigation of a series of brutal murders at his academy. The killings bear an eerie resemblance to a previous case, the Independent Murders, that once plunged the city into chaos years prior. With authorities proving unreliable just as they were then, Yama races to uncover the truth before he and his friends end up on the growing list of victims.
